Courtney Scrabeck is a mother of two boys living in Southern California with her husband and one black cat...blah, blah, blah,...so boring. These things never really capture who we really are anyway. I am energy and light! I am too many coffees! I am the girl no one warned you about because they weren't really sure what to say. An awkward rebel, a recalcitrant people pleaser, a woman made of stardust and opinions who still can't seem to find a stationary she likes.
I am a venti iced vanilla latte with soy and an add shot, I am a vodka whatever, I don't care as long as there's vodka in it. I have been called a walking Mardi Gras and yet was so shy my teachers thought I couldn't read. There are so many parts of me I want to leave behind. So many things I want to become. It seems unfair to try to find words for who, exactly, I am because they are almost always contradictory and never enough.
